LTE IoT Hardware and Software Available for Rural America

San Diego, CA – August 27, 2016 – Systech Corporation announced the certification of Systech’s family of SysLINK IoT Modular gateways and software for use on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE services via the Verizon LTE in Rural America (LRA) program.

Verizon’s LRA program helps bring 4G LTE technology to rural wireless companies that would be difficult to attain on their own. The program includes spectrum, roaming, core network services, IT integration, device specification/certification and technology collaboration.

Rural telecom operators participating in the program provide 4G LTE coverage over 225,000 square miles in 169 counties; are using more than 1,000 cell sites in support of their LTE deployments; and cover more than 2.7 million potential customers.

“The LRA program provides LTE services to a wide range of rural areas,” said Robert Lutz, Director of Business Development at Systech. “With the support of Systech’s hardware and software solutions, the powerful benefits of the Internet of Things can be implemented nationwide.”

LRA certification covers Systech’s entire family of SysLINK hardware gateways, including the recently introduced SL-500 and SL-1500 models. Systech IoT Gateways enable remote access to sensors and devices for monitoring and control. Most support modular option cards for interfaces such as cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, Serial, USB, Ethernet, and others. Systech’s SysLINK modular IoT hardware gateway and SysSCRIPT beginner-friendly software are available today. Contact Systech for further information.
